Thank you for taking the time to visit our new website. We got the idea of our now locally famous 10 miles 10 pubs walk when supporting a similar event, a number of years ago for Pendle Hospice.

Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer - us two are no exception, and so with Rivington on our doorstep we thought it was worth a try to start something local.Looking back, our success hasn't been easy, but it has certainly been worth it. back in 2014 when the "10 miles 10 pubs walk" was just a dream we took lots of time out of our family lives and had miles and miles of practice walks. We found ourselves on dead-ended tracks and knocking on strangers' doors asking where we actually were, but we never gave up in finalising our 10 mile loop.

Knowing what amazing work Bolton Hospice provides to our community kept us both going. We were determined to raise £1000, we pestered friends and family and finally got our route together in time for 200 walkers to support us back in 2014 raising a  staggering £4050. Since then walking numbers have grown and grown and between us have covered just over 40,000 miles (one and a half times around the world) raising over £150,000 for Bolton Hospice.

We would love to see this year's event to add to this. The walk takes you mainly off road to some wonderful pubs around Anglezarke, Rivington and Adlington all of whom contribute to Bolton Hospice and are happy to support our event each year - we hope you do too!
